Scope of Cover

This policy covers loss in anticipated Gross Profit due to delay in project commissioning because of loss occurring in the project (storage/erection/testing) phase. This policy can be taken for civil (CAR) as well as electro/mechanical projects (EAR). This policy is to be taken in conjunction with CAR or EAR policy.

Significant Exclusions

The underlying Material Damage policy for this ALOP cover would be project insurance covers like CAR/EAR. Hence all the exclusions of the Material Damage policy would be applicable for ALOP cover. The major exclusions would be war, nuclear perils, radioactive/ionisation perils, wear & tear.

Extensions

The policy will have a single aggregate excess in terms of days for the entire Policy period.
